Wednesday Friends
Wednesdays Together meet (you guessed!) every Wednesday in church 1.30 - 3.00pm (except in August).
Every 2nd Wednesday in the month they are joined by the Second Wednesday Group which usually features a speaker or activity. You can of course join in both!
Join the team for different activities each week, or just for a game of dominoes!
Our usual monthly format is subject to slight change:
- 1st Wednesday: Crafting with Jane
- 2nd Wednesday: Speaker
- 3rd Wednesday: Soup Wednesday
- 4th Wednesday: Learn Something new
- 5th Wednesday: To be arranged.!
We enjoy our time of Fellowship and Friendship in each other’s company, and have listened to some stimulating speakers. We have covered a large range of subjects, learned something new each time, and had our questions answered. There is then time for a chat over refreshments.
Once a year instead of the usual meetings, we go on our annual canal boat trip from Shepley Marina in Mirfield and in December we enjoy a Christmas dinner together at the local golf club.
